Nầy, ngươi cậy Ê-díp-tô, ngươi lấy cây sậy đã gãy ấy làm gậy, là cây mà ai dựa vào thì nó đâm phủng tay. Pha-ra-ôn, vua Ê-díp-tô, đối với kẻ trông cậy mình cũng là thể ấy.

36. Internal Meaning of Isaiah, Chapter 36
1 Reasonings from falsities have perverted the doctrinals of the church, (2)
2-6 by means of knowledges [scientifica] falsely applied, (2)
7 and by abrogation of the representative worship, (2, 3)
8-10 and in consequence, the church has gone away into what is perverse;
11-12 the result of this was mere evils and falsities, (2, 3)
13-20 even so that they blasphemed the Lord, [maintaining] that He had no power. (2, 3)
