¹⁰ And Absalom sent·​·out spies into all the tribes^◦ of Israel, saying, When you hear the voice of the shophar^*, then you shall say, Absalom reigns in Hebron.

¹² Be·​·firm and let us make· ourselves ·firm for^▫ our people, and for^▫ the cities of our God; and may Jehovah do what is good in His eyes.
