6581. 'He and his [father's] house' means from the internal and the good of the internal. This is clear from the representation of Joseph, to whom 'he' refers here, as the internal, dealt with in 6499, and from the meaning of 'house' as good, dealt with in 2048, 3720, 4982.

6177. 'And he called his son Joseph' means the presence of the internal. This is clear from the meaning of 'calling to himself' as causing to be present with oneself, thus the presence; and from the representation of 'Joseph' as the internal, as many times before, 6089, 6117, 6120, 6128, 6136, 6145, 6149, 6152, 6153, 6156, 6163, 6167.
