³⁷ For everywhere the hair of the head and the hair of the face is cut off: on every hand there are wounds, and haircloth on every body.

Voice of wings

'The voice of wings,' as in Revelation 9:9, signifies rationalizations, because 'to fly' signifies perceiving and instructing.

⁹ They had breastplates, like breastplates of iron. The sound of their wings was like the sound of chariots, or of many horses rushing to war.
