2 Kings 19:28

Étudier

28 Because of thy contention toward Me, and thine ease has come··up into My ears, therefore will I set My hook in thy nose, and My bit in thy lips, and I will cause thee to return by the way by which thou camest.

L'explication

Par Henry MacLagan

Verse 28. And when it has reached the limit of its strong aversion from good, and of its aversion from truth, then is it restrained by the force of manifest good which it cannot resist, and manifest truth which it cannot avoid, and is compelled to seek refuge in its own evil.
