17 וְהִנֵּה־הוּא שָׂם עֲלִילֹת דְּבָרִים לֵאמֹר לֹא־מָצָאתִי לְבִתְּךָ בְּתוּלִים וְאֵלֶּה בְּתוּלֵי בִתִּי וּפָרְשׂוּ הַשִּׂמְלָה לִפְנֵי זִקְנֵי הָעִיר׃

Verse 17. And desires to make it appear that the affection was impure; and yet it was patent before the primary truths of doctrine that the affection was a good and holy one, undefiled with the loves of self and of the world;
