Deuteronomium 4:17

Verse 17. The affections proceeding from the evils of the proprium, which put on the appearance of good in the natural mind, and the false intelligence, which seems to be rational externally, and to lift the mind to real truth, but really proceeds from the loves of self and the world, and is infatuation.
