Leviticus 23:3

Étudier

3 On six days work may be done; but the seventh day is a special day of rest, a time for worship; you may do no sort of work: it is a Sabbath to the Lord wherever you may be living.

L'explication

Par Henry MacLagan

Verse 3. But states of conflict against evil must precede, and be followed by states of rest and peace in general; in which all truths are arranged in order from good; neither shall man then act from selfish motives, nor endure temptations, good being freely and joyfully received from the Lord, even as to every particular state.
