In Genesis 2:9, 16, the tree of life signifies love and faith therefrom; in the midst of the garden signifies in the will of the internal man. (Arcana Coelestia 105)
'The tree of life,' as in Revelation 2:7, signifies the essential celestial, and in the highest sense, the Lord Himself, because everything celestial is from Him, that is, all love and charity.
