⁷ Poiché il Signore, l’Eterno, non fa nulla, senza rivelare il suo segreto ai suoi servi, i profeti.

¹⁶ Poiché non è coll’andar dietro a favole artificiosamente composte che vi abbiamo fatto conoscere la potenza e la venuta del nostro Signor Gesù Cristo, ma perché siamo stati testimoni oculari della sua maestà.

⁵ And now, saith the LORD that formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the LORD, and my God shall be my strength.
