3127. 'The girl ran' means the inclination of that affection. This is clear from the meaning of 'running' as some leaning or inclination, and from the meaning of 'the girl' as affection that has innocence within it, dealt with above in 3067, 3110.

In Revelation 21:5, 'these words are true and faithful' signifies that they may know this for certain, because the Lord Himself testified and said it. (Apocalypse Revealed 886)
