8 και ελαβεν αχαζ το αργυριον και το χρυσιον το ευρεθεν εν θησαυροις οικου κυριου και οικου του βασιλεως και απεστειλεν τω βασιλει δωρα

Verse 8. And hence he ascribes to his own power of reasoning the knowledges of truth and good, having relation to celestial things, and also to spiritual things, which he has acquired.
