38 Spreek tot de kinderen Israels, en zeg tot hen: Dat zij zich snoertjes maken aan de hoeken hunner klederen, bij hun geslachten; en op de snoertjes des hoeks zullen zij een hemelsblauwen draad zetten.

Verse 38. That the man of the church is urged both by an appeal to the understanding and the will to study the Word of the Lord in its literal sense, as to the particulars of truth there, even during the whole course of regeneration, and to do so from the love of truth conjoined with the love of good.
