5748. The western quarter, from the northern corner as far as to the front southern part, was filled with these who were thrown down. Certain were also elsewhere. The dragonists, however, kept on from a southern line, spoken of earlier [5491], into the western [part] farther back, all the way to the north, in a curved line like a tail, but in the darkness there beneath that region.

161. [161.] 28. Followers of the dragon. (Say who are meant by the dragon, 1 drawn from the material on the book of Revelation. 2 And include that by the tail of the dragon is meant faith separated from charity, which has drawn down the stars from heaven, 3 which are concepts of truth and good.)
