8052. JEREMIAH
CHAPTER I
4 Then the words of Jehovah came unto me, saying,
5 Before I formed thee in the womb I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee; I gave thee to be a prophet unto the nations.
6 Then said I, Ah, Lord Jehovah! lo, I know not how to speak: for I am a youth.
7 But Jehovah said unto me, Say not, I am a youth: but to whomsoever I shall send thee, go; and whatsoever I command thee, speak.
8 Be not afraid of them: for I am with thee to snatch thee away, the saying of Jehovah.
9 Then Jehovah put forth his hand, and covered my mouth. And Jehovah said unto me, Behold, I put my words in thy mouth.
10 See, I have this day set thee in authority among nations and kingdoms, to uproot, and destroy, and to put an end to, and to lay waste; to build, and to plant.
