3501. 'And hunt venison for me' means truth acquired from good. This is clear from the meaning of 'hunting' and of 'venison' as the truth of the natural from which the good of life is received, dealt with in 3309. Here truth acquired from good is meant because the words are addressed to Esau, who represents, as has been stated, the good of the natural.
