The forehead corresponds to heavenly love. The forehead signifies love both good and evil. The face has the inmost of man's affections and the forehead the supreme part of the face; the brain, from which is the origin of all things of man's life, is next under the forehead. The Lord looks at the angels in the forehead, and the angels look at the Lord through the eyes, because they look from the understanding of truth.
