8. A married couple in heaven make a single angel

There is in heaven between each man and wife a conjunction like that in each person between the will and the understanding, or between good which is of the will and truth which is of the understanding; because a woman is by nature affection, which is of the will, and a man is by nature thought, which is of the understanding.
