17 τοτε θελεις λαβει τρυπητηριον και θελεις τρυπησει το ωτιον αυτου προς την θυραν, και θελει εισθαι δουλος σου παντοτεινος· και εις την δουλην σου θελεις καμει ομοιως.

Verse 17. Then you shall reduce these external truths to obedience, and by obedience conjoin them to truths introductory to higher states, and in this capacity they will always be serviceable to the regenerate life; and the same shall be done with the external affections.
