5 And I have led you forty years in the wilderness: your clothes are not waxed old upon you, and thy shoe is not waxed old upon thy foot.

Verse 5. And the Lord has led you through all the periods of spiritual want and temptation; the truths of faith given have been sufficient for you; the external principles given to help your walk through life have not failed you.
