Gospel
'Gospel' is glad tidings, and 'the everlasting gospel' is the truths and goods of the Word revealed at the second advent of the Lord, which took place in the year 1757. 'Gospel' signifies the coming of the Lord. 'To preach the gospel' is to announce His coming.
