1009. Verse 6 Whoever sheds man's blood in man, his blood shall be shed, for in the image of God He made man.

'Shedding man's blood in man' means destroying charity; 'in man' is residing with man. 'His blood shall be shed' means his condemnation. 'For in the image of God He made man' means charity, which is the image of God.

In Genesis 8:8, this signifies what people in the church have in them, the word ground being used because this is a person's first stage in becoming a church.Later, the face of the ground being dried up in Genesis 8:13 signifies regeneration when falsities no longer appeared.
