9322. And ye shall serve Jehovah your God. That this signifies the worship of the Lord alone, is evident from the signification of “serving,” as being worship (see above, n. 9318). That it denotes the worship of the Lord, is because in the Word “Jehovah” denotes the the Lord, (n. 1343, 2921, 3035, 5663, 6280, 6281, 6303, 6945, 6956, 8864).
