13 `Thou dost not oppress thy neighbour, nor take plunder; the wages of the hireling doth not remain with thee till morning.

Verse 13. Neither shall the spiritual man violate charity, nor deprive his brother of the truths of his faith; and he who does good in the natural man for the sake of reward, is not to confirm himself in such a state, for although it may be of use previous to regeneration, and in the obscurity of the natural life, it must be rejected when heavenly good is realized.
