29 That thy eyes may be open towards this house night and day, even towards the place of which thou hast said, My name shall be there: that thou mayest hearken to the prayer which thy servant shall make towards this place.

Verse 29. So that in every state of obscurity and brightness he may have intelligence from the Lord in the good from Him which is a receptacle, because it is of Divine appointment that man's state shall be according to the quality of the good he receives; and he will surely receive good in agreement with his acquired state.
