44 καὶ διαβιασάμενοι ἀνέβησαν ἐπὶ τὴν κορυφὴν τοῦ ὄρους ἡ δὲ κιβωτὸς τῆς διαθήκης κυρίου καὶ μωυσῆς οὐκ ἐκινήθησαν ἐκ τῆς παρεμβολῆς

Verse 44. But, nevertheless, the man in this external state is presumptuous, and elevates himself as if sure of victory; yet such have no interior conjunction with the Lord, and with Divine Truth; nor are they prepared for a real conflict.
