9 And the daughter of a man◦ a priest, if▫ she profanes herself by committing·​·harlotry, she◦ is profaning her father, she shall be burnt·​·up with fire.

Verse 9. And the affection of good, if it be conjoined with falsified truth, is profaned; thereby good itself is profaned; and vastation as to good, through selfish love, must follow.
