21 Niun uomo adunque, della progenie del Sacerdote Aaronne, in cui sia alcun difetto, s’appressi per offerire i sacrificii fatti per fuoco al Signore; vi è difetto in lui; perciò, non si appressi per offerir le vivande dell’Iddio suo.

Versetto 21. Nessuno che sia nel bene, o nella verità del bene internamente, e tuttavia sia carente esternamente, è capace di riconoscere pienamente che ogni bene viene dal Signore attraverso l'Amore Divino; è ostacolato dai suoi difetti; e non può essere unito al Signore per quanto riguarda l'esterno da tale riconoscimento.



To many Protestant and Evangelical Italians, the Bibles translated by Giovanni Diodati are an important part of their history. Diodati’s first Italian Bible edition was printed in 1607, and his second in 1641. He died in 1649. Throughout the 1800s two editions of Diodati’s text were printed by the British Foreign Bible Society. This is the more recent 1894 edition, translated by Claudiana.
