20 And he slew all the priests of the high places, that were there upon the altars, and burnt men's bones upon them, and returned to Jerusalem.

Verse 20. And thus he totally abolishes in himself the inmost principles of all corrupted worship confessing that it is profane, and grounded only in the falsities of man's proprium or of his own selfish desires and phantasies. And thus he abides steadfastly in the truth of good.
