13 If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go·​·beyond◦ the mouth of Jehovah, to do good or evil of my own heart. What Jehovah speaks, I will speak.

Verse 13. That although he should be enriched with an abundance of knowledge and delight in the understanding, yet that could not change the truth, nor could it promote both good and evil; for the truth is not from man, but from the Lord who is unchangeable.
