Psalms 29

¹ A psalm of^◦ David.
Give^▵ to Jehovah, O ye sons of the gods^◦;
give^▵ to Jehovah glory and strength.

² Give^▵ to Jehovah the glory of His name;
bow·​·down to Jehovah in the honor^* of holiness.

³ The voice of Jehovah is upon the waters;
the God^◦ of glory thunders,
Jehovah is upon many waters.

⁴ The voice of Jehovah is with power.
The voice of Jehovah is with honor.

⁵ The voice of Jehovah breaks the cedars;
and Jehovah breaks the cedars of Lebanon.

⁶ And He makes them to skip as^▵ a calf,
Lebanon and Sirion as^▵ the son of unicorns.

⁷ The voice of Jehovah
hews the flames of fire.^*

⁸ The voice of Jehovah makes the wilderness travail;
Jehovah makes the wilderness of Kadesh travail.

⁹ The voice of Jehovah makes the deer to travail, and makes·​·bare the forests;
and in His temple everyone says, Glory.

¹⁰ At^◦ the flood Jehovah sits;
and Jehovah sits a King to eternity.

¹¹ Jehovah gives strength to His people;
Jehovah blesses His people with peace.
