Ezekiel 20:8

Дослідження

8 But they rebelled against me, and would not hearken to me: they did not every man cast away the abominations of their eyes, neither did they forsake the idols of Egypt: then I said, I will pour out my fury upon them, to accomplish my anger against them in the midst of the land of Egypt.

Ezekiel 20:31

Дослідження

31 For when ye offer your gifts, when ye make your sons to pass through the fire, ye pollute yourselves with all your idols, even to this day: and shall I be inquired of by you, O house of Israel? As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will not be inquired of by you.

10512. 'Which Aaron made' means that it exists as a result of the external things which alone they love. This is clear from the representation of 'Aaron' as the external side of the Word, the Church, and worship, dealt with in 10397, 10468, 10480. When the external alone is loved the external is said to make that [idol]; but the nation which loves external things alone should be understood by this.
