καὶ πορευθεὶς εἰς τὰ πρόβατα λαβέ μοι ἐκεῖθεν δύο ἐρίφους ἁπαλοὺς καὶ καλούς καὶ ποιήσω αὐτοὺς ἐδέσματα τῷ πατρί σου ὡς φιλεῖ

καὶ πορευθεὶς εἰς τὰ πρόβατα λαβέ μοι ἐκεῖθεν δύο ἐρίφους ἁπαλοὺς καὶ καλούς καὶ ποιήσω αὐτοὺς ἐδέσματα τῷ πατρί σου ὡς φιλεῖ
3520. And I will make the dainties for thy father, such as he loveth. That this signifies that he should make deliciousnesses therefrom, is evident from the signification of “dainties,” as being pleasant things from good (concerning w hich above, n. 3502). They are here called “deliciousnesses,” because they are truths not from genuine good, but from domestic good (see n. 3518).
