¹ 論摩押。萬軍之耶和華─以色列的神如此說：尼波有禍了！因變為荒場。基列亭蒙羞被攻取。米斯迦蒙羞被毀壞；

² 摩押不再被稱讚。有人在希實本設計謀害他，說：來罷！我們將他剪除，不再成國。瑪得緬哪，你也必默默無聲；刀劍必追趕你。

³ 從何羅念有喊荒涼大毀滅的哀聲：

⁴ 摩押毀滅了！他的孩童（或譯：家僮）發哀聲，使人聽見。

⁵ 人上魯希坡隨走隨哭，因為在何羅念的下坡聽見毀滅的哀聲。

⁶ 你們要奔逃，自救性命，獨自居住，好像曠野的杜松。

⁷ 你因倚靠自己所做的和自己的財寶必被攻取。基抹和屬他的祭司、首領也要一同被擄去。

⁸ 行毀滅的必來到各城，並無一城得免。山谷必致敗落，平原必被毀壞；正如耶和華所說的。

⁹ 要將翅膀給摩押，使他可以飛去。他的城邑必致荒涼，無人居住。

¹⁰ （懶惰為耶和華行事的，必受咒詛；禁止刀劍不經血的，必受咒詛。）

¹¹ 摩押自幼年以來常享安逸，如酒在渣滓上澄清，沒有從這器皿倒在那器皿裡，也未曾被擄去。因此，他的原味尚存，香氣未變。

¹² 耶和華說：日子將到，我必打發倒酒的往他那裡去，將他倒出來，倒空他的器皿，打碎他的罈子。

¹³ 摩押必因基抹羞愧，像以色列家從前倚靠伯特利的神羞愧一樣。

¹⁴ 你們怎麼說：我們是勇士，是有勇力打仗的呢？

¹⁵ 摩押變為荒場，敵人上去進了他的城邑。他所特選的少年人下去遭了殺戮；這是君王─名為萬軍之耶和華說的。

¹⁶ 摩押的災殃臨近；他的苦難速速來到。

¹⁷ 凡在他四圍的和認識他名的，你們都要為他悲傷，說：那結實的杖和那美好的棍，何竟折斷了呢？

¹⁸ 住在底本的民哪（原文是女子），要從你榮耀的位上下來，坐受乾渴；因毀滅摩押的上來攻擊你，毀壞了你的保障。

¹⁹ 住亞羅珥的啊，要站在道旁觀望，問逃避的男人和逃脫的女人說：是甚麼事呢？

²⁰ 摩押因毀壞蒙羞；你們要哀號呼喊，要在亞嫩旁報告說：摩押變為荒場！

²¹ 刑罰臨到平原之地的何倫、雅雜、米法押、

²² 底本、尼波、伯•低比拉太音、

²³ 基列亭、伯迦末、伯•米恩、

²⁴ 加略、波斯拉，和摩押地遠近所有的城邑。

²⁵ 摩押的角砍斷了，摩押的膀臂折斷了。這是耶和華說的。

²⁶ 你們要使摩押沉醉，因他向耶和華誇大。他要在自己所吐之中打滾，又要被人嗤笑。

²⁷ 摩押啊，你不曾嗤笑以色列麼？他豈是在賊中查出來的呢？你每逢提到他便搖頭。

²⁸ 摩押的居民哪，要離開城邑，住在山崖裡，像鴿子在深淵口上搭窩。

²⁹ 我們聽說摩押人驕傲，是極其驕傲；聽說他自高自傲，並且狂妄，居心自大。

³⁰ 耶和華說：我知道他的忿怒是虛空的；他誇大的話一無所成。

³¹ 因此，我要為摩押哀號，為摩押全地呼喊；人必為吉珥•哈列設人歎息。

³² 西比瑪的葡萄樹啊，我為你哀哭，甚於雅謝人哀哭。你的枝子蔓延過海，直長到雅謝海。那行毀滅的已經臨到你夏天的果子和你所摘的葡萄。

³³ 肥田和摩押地的歡喜快樂都被奪去；我使酒醡的酒絕流，無人踹酒歡呼；那歡呼卻變為仇敵的吶喊（原文是那歡呼卻不是歡呼）。

³⁴ 希實本人發的哀聲達到以利亞利，直達到雅雜；從瑣珥達到何羅念，直到伊基拉施利施亞，因為寧林的水必然乾涸。

³⁵ 耶和華說：我必在摩押地使那在邱壇獻祭的，和那向他的神燒香的都斷絕了。

³⁶ 我心腹為摩押哀鳴如簫，我心腸為吉珥•哈列設人也是如此，因摩押人所得的財物都滅沒了。

³⁷ 各人頭上光禿，鬍鬚剪短，手有劃傷，腰束麻布。

³⁸ 在摩押的各房頂上和街市上處處有人哀哭；因我打碎摩押，好像打碎無人喜悅的器皿。這是耶和華說的。

³⁹ 摩押何等毀壞！何等哀號！何等羞愧轉背！這樣，摩押必令四圍的人嗤笑驚駭。

⁴⁰ 耶和華如此說：仇敵必如大鷹飛起，展開翅膀，攻擊摩押。

⁴¹ 加略被攻取，保障也被佔據。到那日，摩押的勇士心中疼痛如臨產的婦人。

⁴² 摩押必被毀滅，不再成國，因他向耶和華誇大。

⁴³ 耶和華說：摩押的居民哪，恐懼、陷坑、網羅都臨近你。

⁴⁴ 躲避恐懼的必墜入陷坑；從陷坑上來的必被網羅纏住；因我必使追討之年臨到摩押。這是耶和華說的。

⁴⁵ 躲避的人無力站在希實本的影下；因為有火從希實本發出，有火燄出於西宏的城，燒盡摩押的角和鬨嚷人的頭頂。

⁴⁶ 摩押啊，你有禍了！屬基抹的民滅亡了！因你的眾子都被擄去，你的眾女也被擄去。

⁴⁷ 耶和華說：到末後，我還要使被擄的摩押人歸回。摩押受審判的話到此為止。

²⁵ 拆毀摩押的城邑，各人拋石填滿一切美田，塞住一切水泉，砍伐各種佳樹，只剩下吉珥哈列設的石牆；甩石的兵在四圍攻打那城。

¹ The sin of Judah is written with a pen of iron, [and] with the point of a diamond: it is engraved on the tablet of their heart, and on the horns of your altars;

² while their children remember their altars and their Asherim by the green trees on the high hills.

³ My mountain in the field, I will give your substance and all your treasures for a spoil, [and] your high places, because of sin, throughout all your borders.

⁴ You, even of yourself, shall discontinue from your heritage that I gave you; and I will cause you to serve your enemies in the land which you don't know: for you have kindled a fire in my anger which shall burn forever.

⁵ Thus says Yahweh: Cursed is the man who trusts in man, and makes flesh his arm, and whose heart departs from Yahweh.

⁶ For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good comes, but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, a salt land and not inhabited.

⁷ Blessed is the man who trusts in Yahweh, and whose trust Yahweh is.

⁸ For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, who spreads out its roots by the river, and shall not fear when heat comes, but its leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

⁹ The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly corrupt: who can know it?

¹⁰ I, Yahweh, search the mind, I try the heart, even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings.

¹¹ As the partridge that sits on [eggs] which she has not laid, so is he who gets riches, and not by right; in the midst of his days they shall leave him, and at his end he shall be a fool.

¹² A glorious throne, [set] on high from the beginning, is the place of our sanctuary.

¹³ Yahweh, the hope of Israel, all who forsake you shall be disappointed. Those who depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken Yahweh, the spring of living waters.

¹⁴ Heal me, O Yahweh, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for you are my praise.

¹⁵ Behold, they tell me, Where is the word of Yahweh? let it come now.

¹⁶ As for me, I have not hurried from being a shepherd after you; neither have I desired the woeful day; you know: that which came out of my lips was before your face.

¹⁷ Don't be a terror to me: you are my refuge in the day of evil.

¹⁸ Let them be disappointed who persecute me, but let not me be disappointed; let them be dismayed, but don't let me be dismayed; bring on them the day of evil, and destroy them with double destruction.

¹⁹ Thus said Yahweh to me: Go, and stand in the gate of the children of the people, through which the kings of Judah come in, and by which they go out, and in all the gates of Jerusalem;

²⁰ and tell them, Hear the word of Yahweh, you kings of Judah, and all Judah, and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, that enter in by these gates:

²¹ Thus says Yahweh, Take heed to yourselves, and bear no burden on the Sabbath day, nor bring it in by the gates of Jerusalem;

²² neither carry forth a burden out of your houses on the Sabbath day holy, neither do any work: but make the Sabbath day, as I commanded your fathers.

²³ But they didn't listen, neither turn their ear, but made their neck stiff, that they might not hear, and might not receive instruction.

²⁴ It shall happen, if you diligently listen to me, says Yahweh, to bring in no burden through the gates of this city on the Sabbath day, but to make the Sabbath day holy, to do no work therein;

²⁵ then shall there enter in by the gates of this city kings and princes sitting on the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, they, and their princes, the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and this city shall remain forever.

²⁶ They shall come from the cities of Judah, and from the places around Jerusalem, and from the land of Benjamin, and from the lowland, and from the hill country, and from the South, bringing burnt offerings, and sacrifices, and meal offerings, and frankincense, and bringing [sacrifices of] thanksgiving, to the house of Yahweh.

²⁷ But if you will not listen to me to make the Sabbath day holy, and not to bear a burden and enter in at the gates of Jerusalem on the Sabbath day; then will I kindle a fire in its gates, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem, and it shall not be quenched.
