Verse 8. Therefore shall you be extremely careful to follow the dictates of the Lord, which are now perceived to be His will, from the Word, that the soul may be fortified by the Divine presence, and progress towards internal things, and possess those heavenly thoughts and affections, to possess which should be the main object and aim of the regenerating soul;
