Hošea 3

Дослідження

3 i rekoh joj: "Za mnogo dana ostat ćeš mi povučena, nećeš se odavati bludu ni podavati nikojem čovjeku, a ni ja neću k tebi prilaziti."

4 Jer mnogo će dana sinovi Izraelovi ostati bez kralja i bez kneza, bez žrtve i bez stupa, bez oplećka i bez kumira.

5 Poslije toga, sinovi će se Izraelovi vratiti; tražit će Jahvu, Boga svoga, i Davida, svoga kralja; sa strahom će pristupiti k Jahvi i k njegovim dobrima, na kraju dana.

32. Unto God and His Father, signifies by Divine truth and Divine good. This is evident from this, that "God" is the Divine truth, and "Jehovah" is the Divine good; therefore in the Word the Lord is called "God" when Divine truth is treated of, and "Jehovah" when Divine good is treated of (See Arcana Coelestia 2586, 2769, 2807, 2822, 3921, 4287, 4402, 7010, 9167); but here it is said "Father" instead of Jehovah, because the Father of the Lord was Jehovah, and by "Father" the like is meant as by "Jehovah." By both "God" and "the Father" the Lord alone is meant; for the Father was in Him as the soul is in its body (See above, n. 10, 26); since He was conceived of Jehovah, and one's soul is from him of whom He is conceived; consequently when the Lord spoke of the Father He meant His Divine in Himself. This was why He said:

That the Father is in Him and He in the Father (John 10:38; 14:10, 11).

That the Father and He are one (John 10:30).

That He is not alone, but He and the Father (John 16:32).

(That the Lord called the Divine of Jehovah, which was in Him from conception, and which was the esse of His life in His Human, "the Father," and the Divine truth which is from Divine good "the Son," see Arcana Coelestia 2803, 3704, 7499, 8328, 8897; that "the Son of man" is Divine truth, and "the Father" Divine good, see n. 1729, 1733, 2159, 2628, 2803, 2813, 3255, 3704, 7499, 8897, 9807. See also citations from Arcana Coelestia in The Doctrine of the New Jerusalem, n.304, on the unition of the Divine which is called "Jehovah," "the Father," with the Divine Human of the Lord.)

Arcana Coelestia #9952

9952. 'And with these you shall clothe Aaron your brother' means such a state of Divine Good in the spiritual kingdom. This is clear from the meaning of 'to clothe' as to bring about the state of whatever reality is represented by garments, in this instance the state of Divine Truth in the spiritual kingdom. For 'Aaron' represents the Lord in respect of Divine Good, and so also Divine Good that comes from the Lord, dealt with in 9806, and 'his garments' the Lord's spiritual kingdom lying adjacent to His celestial kingdom, 9814. The meaning of 'to clothe' as to bring about the state which is represented by garments that are put on has its origin in representatives in the next life. Spirits there and angels all appear wearing garments, each wearing ones that accord with the state of the truth that governs him, thus each wearing ones that accord with his power of understanding that harmonizes with the power of will within it. The reason why this should be so is that a person's understanding serves to clothe his will, the understanding being formed from truths, and the will from forms of good, and that good is what is clothed, 5248. So it is that in the Word truths are meant by 'garments', see 165, 1073, 4545, 4763, 5954, 6378, 6914, 6917, 9093, 9814, and that this has its origin in representatives in the next life, 9212, 9216, 9814.
