Ezekiel 32:27

²⁷ And they shall not lie with the mighty that are fallen of the uncircumcised, who are gone down to the grave, with their weapons of war: and they have laid their swords under their heads, but their iniquities shall be upon their bones, though they were the terror of the mighty in the land of the living.

Word

'Word,' as in Isaiah 9:8, signifies the doctrine of internal and external worship. 'Word,' as in Psalms 119:6-17, stands for doctrine in general.

'The Word,' as in Psalms 147:18, signifies divine good united with divine truth.

The whole Word is nothing but the doctrine of love towards the Lord, and love towards our neighbor, as in Matthew 22.

In Jeremiah 49:34, Elam signifies the falsification of doctrine.

In Jeremiah 49:35, Elam signifies the science of the natural man, and thus faith.

In Jeremiah 49:36, Elam signifies people who are in the knowledges of faith but not in charity.

In Isaiah 21:1, Elam signifies faith originating in charity, consequently, the internal church.
