188. Internal Meaning of Hosea, Chapter 5
1-3 Those who represented the celestial things of the church and those who represented its spiritual and intellectual things, falsified and adulterated the truths of the Word. (3)
10-14 They no longer have any understanding of truth, but in place of truth they understand falsity. (3, 11)
15 Nevertheless there will be a new thing of the church. (11)
Hosea 5:1-3

"Listen to this, you priests! Listen, house of Israel, and give ear, house of the king! For the judgment is against you; for you have been a snare at Mizpah, and a net spread on Tabor.

The rebels are deep in slaughter; but I discipline all of them.

I know Ephraim, and Israel is not hidden from me; for now, Ephraim, you have played the prostitute. Israel is defiled.
