അന്നുതന്നേ നോഹയും നോഹയുടെ പുത്രന്മാരായ ശേമും ഹാമും യാഫേത്തും നോഹയുടെ ഭാര്യയും അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരുടെ മൂന്നു ഭാര്യമാരും പെട്ടകത്തില് കടന്നു.

738. Noah is here called “a son of six hundred years” because a “son” signifies truth of the understanding, as before shown. But in the eleventh verse he (Genesis 7:11) is not called a “son” because there his temptation as to things of the will is treated of.
