Jehoshaphat

"Triomphe de Josaphat" by Jean Fouquet. Licensed under Public Domain via Wikimedia Commons. The picture shows Jehoshaphat re-entering Jerusalem after his victory over Adad, the King of Syria.

In 1 Kings 22:48, Jehoshaphat seems to represent a corruption of the church, which takes place by falsifying truth. (Apocalypse Explained 514)

Tabernacle and tent

'God forsook the Tabernacle of Shiloh, and the tent which he placed amongst men,' as in Psalms 78:60, signifies that the goods of love, and truths of doctrine were destroyed. Here, the 'Tabernacle' or 'habitation of Shiloh' signifies the church consisting of people in the good of love to the Lord, and the tent signifies the church consisting of people who are in truths derived from that good.
