And having at length obtained the marriage he wished for, he preferred the love of the latter before the former, and served with him other seven years.
3850. 'And he came [in] also to Rachel' means a joining to the affection for internal truth. This is clear from the meaning of 'coming [in] to' as being joined to, and from the representation of 'Rachel' as the affection for internal truth, dealt with already.
