⁶ And all the inhabitants of Egypt shall know that I [am] Jehovah, because they have been a staff of reed to the house of Israel.

¹⁷ And I took the cup at Jehovah's hand, and made all the nations to drink, to whom Jehovah had sent me:

⁷ For in that day everyone shall cast away his idols of silver and his idols of gold--sin which your own hands have made for you.
