Beasts from the land
The beast ascending out of the earth (Revelation 13:11) signifies confirmations by the natural man of faith, separate from charity based on the literal sense of the Word.
In Revelation 13:11, this signifies confirmation from the literal sense of the Word in favor of this separation, thus falsifying the truths of the church. (Apocalypse Explained 815)
