3140. 'He said, Come, O blessed of Jehovah' means an invitation to the Divine within Himself. This is clear from the meaning of 'come' as an expression of an invitation, and from the meaning of 'blessed of Jehovah' as the Divine. 'Blessed be Jehovah' means the Divine itself, see 1096, 1420, 1422; consequently 'the blessed of Jehovah' means the Divine that proceeds from Him. Good is the Divine itself, but Truth is the Divine that proceeds from it. 'The man' here who was sent by Abraham means truth from the Divine, within the natural man, 3134. Divine truth is that which is called 'blessed of Jehovah' and which is 'invited'.
