1830. That 'he parted each of them down the middle' means the Church and the Lord is clear from what follows, for celestial things were meant by the heifer, she-goat, and ram, and spiritual things by the turtle dove and fledgling. When cut apart and their parts set opposite each other, these creatures cannot have any other meaning.
