31 וַיֹּאמֶר כֹּה־יַעֲשֶׂה־לִּי אֱלֹהִים וְכֹה יֹוסִף אִם־יַעֲמֹד רֹאשׁ אֱלִישָׁע בֶּן־שָׁפָט עָלָיו הַיֹּום׃

Verse 31. And hence the corrupted and vastated church eagerly desires to destroy the essentials of Divine Truth or the Word which judges and condemns it.
