20 sed dum tuta monato, gxis gxi eliros tra viaj nazotruoj kaj farigxos al vi abomenajxo, pro tio, ke vi malsxatis la Eternulon, kiu estas inter vi, kaj vi ploris antaux Li, dirante:Por kio ni eliris el Egiptujo?

Commentarius in hunc versum

Verse 20. And lastly by rejecting all truth and good to eternity, even the slightest perception of the former, this becoming utterly distasteful, and the least influence of the latter, which becomes entirely loathsome, because good from the Lord cannot abide with evil, nor truth from Him with falsity, and merely natural loves only are desired.
