1 And the children of Israel journeyed, and encamped in the plains of Moab on the other side of the Jordan from Jericho.

Verse 1. But the man of the Spiritual Church, in advancing towards the heavenly life, is in a state of the adulteration of good, as to the external man who is in the knowledges of goodness and truth.
