Whoso sheddeth man’s blood in man, his blood shall be shed; for in the image of God made He man. “Sheddeth man’s blood in man” signifies extinguishing charity; “in man” is with man; “his blood shall be shed” signifies his condemnation; “for in the image of God made He man” signifies charity, which is the “image of God.”
