That this signifies perception from the Divine is evident from the signification of “saying,” in the historicals of the Word, as being to perceive (as frequently above); and from the representation of Moses as being the Lord in respect to the Divine law in the Human when He was in the world (see n. 6723, 6752, 6771, 6827). The Divine which is the source, is signified by “Jehovah.” Hence, it is plain that by “Moses said unto Jehovah” is signified that the Lord from His Divine had perception in His Human.
